Super Meat Boy and The Binding of Isaac creator Edmund McMillen is a fascinating guy. He's been making intensely personal games for a while now, many of which are strangely tough to find, even on the boundless resource that is the Internet. He's now setting out to change that. On August 31st (Friday, for those of you that prefer not to think about numbers), he'll be releasing his early gaming work as the Basement Collection for $4 on Steam. What a good guy.
The list of games includes Time Fcuk, Aether, Spewer, Grey Matter, Triachnid, the original Meat Boy, Coil, and two super secret games. The pack also drops a bunch of goodies like tech demos, character sketches, development notes, and even 15 minutes of cut footage from Indie Game: The Movie. All you've got to do is give up those two slices of pizza you were going to buy later. Don't get me wrong, I would never advocated giving up pizza forever, just this once. Edmund deserves it.
