EA announced the Vietnam expansion pack at its E3 press conference this afternoon, providing a brief teaser trailer filled with Huey Choppers, explosions, and dense-jungle action.
Featuring authentic vehicles and weapons, gamers will take on the role of either U.S. Marines or North Vietnamese Army and do battle in four new maps set in the thick Vietnamese jungle. And new awards, achievements, and trophies will all be there for the unlocking
Just as 1943 featured maps from EA's original battlefield title, 1942, it's highly likely the newest expansion pack will feature maps from its 2004 PC game, Battlefield: Vietnam.
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam expansion will be launched as a digital download this winter for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. Pricing has not yet been announced.
