Death, taxes, and Call of Duty. Activision will release a new CoD this year (and every year until the cash cow runs dry) as sure as you'll be paying Uncle Sam 30% until the Grim Reaper stops by for a little visit. The question is what will this year's installment be? According to some leaky retailers, it will be Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.

We've heard the rumor before, and it only gained momentum today when Spain/Portugal retail website Fnac listed CoD: Black Ops 2 on its main page, even providing a release date of November 12. The posting has since been removed, but not before it was captured by the good folks at Gamepur:

Amazon France made the same slip up two weeks ago, and at this point, all signs point to CoD: Black Ops 2 being reality. The real question is, will it bring anything new to a franchise that has become an annual carbon copy of Infinity Ward's Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare?
