No solution is wrong and the only limit is the imagination. That's the pitch for Create, the new multiplatform family game from the Play Label of Electronic Arts.

Developed by Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows studio EA Bright Light, Create will task players with solving level-based challenges by using a variety of in-game tools.

"Create uses families' imaginations to develop new ways to play together that are both fun and challenging," said Harvey Elliott, VP and GM at EA Bright Light. "We wanted to design a game where the entire family can explore, decorate, and solve challenges where no solution is wrong and the only limit is the imagination."

Players will be able to design environments and props and animate them to solve puzzles. The more creative the solution, the more points a player is awarded and the more tools and options are unlocked. Create players will also be able to share their solutions and even their own challenges online, and download, play, and remix other players' challenges and solutions.

Create is being developed for the Nintendo Wii, PlayStation 3 featuring Move compatibility, Xbox 360, and Windows and Mac OSX. The game is set to ship this November.

Sharkey says: Sounds like EA is trying to challenge Sony's play, create, and share juggernaut, LittleBigPlanet. The publisher must have some confidence in its new IP, because it will go head-to-head with LBP2 when it launches on November 16.
