Insurgency -- A Half-Life 2 Total Conversion

Insurgency is a total conversion MOD (multiplayer) of Half-Life 2, bringing players modern infantry combat on Valve's Source engine. It takes you across the modern battlefield, engaging in intense firefights and battles as a member of either a highly organized and equipped conventional force (US Marines), or as an unconventional fighter that uses a combination of firepower and bravery to take on their sometimes overwhelming opponent (Insurgents).

Intense realism will keep you alert as you and your team try accomplish the mission's objectives. Specified roles are included within each Squad that make up your team's Platoon. Command and control from a 4-soldier Fireteam, to an 8-soldier Squad, up to a 32-soldier Platoon. A unique point system ensures that online combat veterans will be rewarded for their leadership and tactical abilities so that they can rise through the ranks and command the platoon. Grab one of the many weapons in the arsenal and join the fight using guerrilla tactics against the powerful enemy, fire RPGs at enemy infantry, or deploy your machine gun to take down entire platoons!
