Starting on August 4, rabid Madden fans will get a chance to take an advanced sneak peak at what Madden NFL 07 has to offer -- but it'll cost them. Electronic Arts and ESPN have teamed up to produce a one-hour pay-per-view special which features tips from top Madden gamers, a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the latest Madden game, and a preview of the upcoming title's new features and changes.
The televised special also includes interviews with NLF athletes such as Marshall Faulk, Eddie George, Warrick Dunn and Steve Hutchinson. In one segment, these players will get a peek at their player ratings in the game and provide their feedback on how they're rated. This special will run throughout the month of August after its premiere and will set back armchair quarterbacks $19.95. Madden NFL 07 is due out in stores for all current-gen consoles and handhelds, the PC, and the Xbox 360 on August 22. PS3 and Wii versions of the game will come out later in the year.
