Ah, who could ever forget loading a crossbow with ammunition made of bats and bees? Okay, so it's been a couple of years since Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath made its way onto our favorite gaming platform, and the HD remake has been a little tardy in reaching us. In any case, it's now here, and if you already owned it on Steam, this journey into a high-definition, thudslug-flinging wonderland is free.
The upgrade to HD comes in the form of an update via Steam, so you can simply download that next time you log in and be on your merry way. And if you don't own it? Why, it's gone on sale to celebrate its shiny new crispness: $7, down from the usual $10. Honestly, though, I'd recommend throwing three dollars more at Steam and buying The Oddboxx pack for just $10.50, which will get you Stranger's Wrath as well as the absolutely killer (and adorably misspelt) Oddworld games Abe's Oddysee, Munch's Oddysee, and Abe's Exoddus. Only then will I be satisfied with the amount of Oddworldery on your computer.
