Like many other Elder Scrolls fans, I loved The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind more than any other Western RPG, at least until Oblivion came out. I spent over a hundred hours in the game (I know that's not much compared to some of you, so feel free to heckle me in the comments below), although once I was finished, I was finished. This was because, sadly, I played the game on the Xbox, a system that didn't exactly lend itself to nifty feats of technical wizardry like modding. Luckily (for them at least), that wasn't the case for the game's PC players.

Now a group calling itself the "Morrowind Overhaul Team" has taken it upon themselves to find the best Morrowind mods from across the Internet, compiling them all in one handy package. Our sister site FilePlanet has the goods, so head on over to download the Morrowind Overhaul Mod now.

On the Morrowind Overhaul Team's official forum, the group's leaders broke it down like this:
A benefit of this compilations is that players don't need to go through the "download every single mod out there and try it" phase of customizing Morrowind. The pack is intended for people who would prefer not to hand-pick mods out of the thousands of mods available. Modding Morrowind can be overwhelming for some people, and they might want to start out with a compilation before they feel comfortable picking and choosing mods on their own.
Hmm, I wonder if it might be time to start losing my life to Morrowind all over again?
