Humble Beginnings: Part 1

In-Game Description

You got something to prove, and I need someone the Enforcers won't recognize. So why don't you head over there and Press (Action Key) to spray up our graffiti. We need to let everyone know that trouble's brewin'.

After accepting this mission, you should still be standing right in front of Double-B. Turn your back on her, and at your right, you should see a slatted door leading to the Parking Garage. Walk through it, and head downstairs to find the Vehicle Spawn Machine. When you step up to it, press Action, and your very own car will spawn into view at your left. Head on over to it, and press Action to hop in.

Now that you're inside, check out the orange waypoint indicators on your screen. These are random, so if you create new characters and attempt this mission multiple times, their locations will always change. You'll want to drive toward the indicator and get as close as you possibly can, which should be between twenty and fifty meters (20-50m). Along the way, take care not to run over any civilians; you're just starting out and you won't want your notoriety to skyrocket yet, else you'll become a tastier Enforcer target.

Once you're in the vehicle, your driving controls are mapped to the movement keys. Among them is the Handbrake, which is incredibly useful. You'll always use it whenever you're careening around corners at moderate to high speeds. Additionally, while you're steering, tap the keys delicately; a little goes a long way in a new and unmodified vehicle.

When you step out of the car and onto the streets (keeping in mind where you've parked), you may have to surmount all sorts of obstacles to reach your tagging spots. If you think your target is unreachable, look around for stairs, fences, ladders, or openings in otherwise solid walls. Whenever you have to climb something, pressing Action once should do the trick, but anything more involved (e.g., scaling a ladder) may require holding the Action button down. Ultimately, you'll find your spot, and will be ready to tag.

Face the wall, and if your indicator should say you're one meter (1m) away, you've got the right place. Hold down the Action key for a while to spraypaint. When the job is done, you'll be given a second waypoint. Return to your vehicle, and drive to the next wall. Spraypaint it in the same manner as the first, and you'll be finished. Although you'll be rewarded instantly, you should head back to San Paro Central Station to speak with Double-B again. If you've forgotten where it's located, don't worry, as the green waypoint labeled with her name will guide you there.
